Meticulous hatch shading sets the background for a pointer amidst a field of birds that spans both sides and transitions to flowing, spiral scroll surrounding the maker’s mark on the bottom of the frame. The coin-finished exterior features double Kersten locks and shows bright, highly detailed engraving that accents its entirety. The underside of the barrels and the inside of the frame bears Spanish nitro proofmarks along with a matching serial number the inside of the frame retains a vivid case-colored finish. A couple very minor pinpricks of oxidation can be seen upon careful inspection, and there is some light silvering around the muzzles and along the high edges of the ventilated rib. The blued metal surfaces of this handsome ejectorgun retain approximately 98% original finish and are a pleasing deep charcoal coloration overall, with undertones of plum.
